The Foxie invites you to join us as we carry forward a practice of sharing respect and deference for, offering gratitude to, and recognition of the original inhabitants of the lands we now call Amador County, California.

We acknowledge and offer gratitude to these indigenous ancestors, and present-day relations of the Nisenan, Washoe, and the Plains Miwok & Northern Sierra Miwok of the Amador County and greater Mother Lode region.
We acknowledge their long history and respect of these lands, their respect for the plants, animals and native landscapes in these lands, their contributions in the establishment and sustenance of our towns and community, and we uplift their legacies as they continue to build and sustain their culture and practices today and for future generations.

POLICIES & GENERAL INFORMATION

There is VERY LIMITED cell service at our location (only Verizon seems to work) so please ensure you have logged on to our WiFi as soon as you arrive and enabled calling over WiFi; in your phone settings so you can be in touch with us and your loved ones.

In an effort to keep our Inn secure and peaceful, we restrict the use of our rooms, gardens, and common areas for registered guests only. Our inn is most suitable for adults and children over the age of 12 years.

Each of our rooms accommodate two adults only with five of our rooms holding a single Queen bed and two with a single King bed. Room rates are based upon double occupancy, with no discounts for single occupancy. Occupancy beyond two guests, including children, will incur an additional charge of $45 per person per night.

If you are interested in hosting outside guests in your room or in the garden for breakfast or a private event, please touch base with The Management with an email to reserve@thefoxie.com so we can arrange this for you. Unannounced and unpermitted visitors will incur fees on reservations for guests they are visiting.

We do not turnover rooms during your stay and will not be entering rooms while guests are occupying them. If you need any restocking of in-room amenities, please call or message us!

PRICING: Rates are subject to change without notice and updated dynamically. Until a reservation is confirmed with a credit card and receipt of the Confirmation Email, pricing is not locked in. Any charges displayed on our website do not include local taxes or gratuities.

PAYMENT: We accept these major credit cards at the time of booking: MC, VISA, AMEX and Discover Card. We do not accept or handle cash on our premises and require all payments be made through Venmo or a credit/debit card. The Foxie reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for the room reservation for any and all charges incurred through the course of that reservation, including any additional purchases, fees, damage or other charges incurred upon checkout by the guests or once guests have vacated the premises without providing payment based on the policies described below.

ADDITIONAL AMENITIES AND ON-SITE PURCHASES: From our custom-blend of coffee to our favorite local wines, olive oils, and other treats and add-on services like massages, chef’s table experiences, picnic baskets, chauffeur services, and private tours, our guests are welcome to add these additional purchases to their reservations. If individual add-ons are not paid for at the time of product or service delivery, The Foxie reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for the room reservation for these charges upon checkout by the guests.

GUEST APPLICATION: The Foxie uses a Guest Application accessed through a series of weblinks to complete our precheck-in wizard which then allows guests to access our custom curated guidebook, add amenities and services during your stay, to contact and communicate with our staff during your stay, and complete checking out at the end of your stay. By booking your stay with us, you are consenting to use and communicate with us through our Guest App.

CHECKING-IN: Guests must complete our online check-in wizard and select their check-in option prior to arrival.

We offer SELF CHECK-IN for the added convenience of our guests and staff. You can use our online check-in wizard to confirm your arrival details. Once completed, you will receive an email with check-in instructions the day prior to your arrival so you can head directly to your room when you arrive. The credit card on file will be charged for any balances owed.

If you wish to request an EARLY CHECK-IN ($50 per room additional fee) to access your room between 12-3pm on the day of your arrival, please submit this request in the wizard and we will let you know the time we can accommodate you. If you’d like to arrive in Sutter Creek prior to 3pm but do not wish to enter your room, there is no charge to park in our carport (first come, first served) and browse in town prior to our standard check-in time.

If you’d prefer our MEET & GREET CHECK-IN ($35 per room), our Innkeeper will meet you in our Parlor in the Main House at the designated time on the day of your arrival to escort you to your room and help you get settled in through a more in-person interaction. This service is offered between 12pm-6pm (prior to 3pm requires adding the early check-in option, subject to availability) and is especially designed for our senior or less tech-savvy guests who’d prefer a more offline and social experience.

CHECKING OUT: Check-out time is 11:00 am. Late checkout may be requested with additional fees, subject to availability and confirmation by The Foxie. Guests are required to complete checking out through the Guest Application used by The Foxie. The link will be shared with the Guests on the day prior to their check out, with the option to request a late checkout with additional fees, subject to availability. Please note that there is a $75 per hour fee for unapproved stays beyond 11:00 am. Guests are charged for the next day if staying past 1:00 pm, in addition to the hourly charge until 1pm for any unapproved late checkouts.

CANCELLATION POLICY: There is a $150 administration fee for any reservation cancelled within a 30-day period from the date of arrival of the booking. If a customer cancels 10 days or less prior to the date of check-in, the customer will be charged for each reserved night and room that The Foxie cannot re-book. The Foxie will make every effort to re-book the room so the customer can avoid this charge. If the Foxie must discount the room to have it booked, the customer who canceled will have to pay the difference. There will be a $100 change fee added to reservations changed to alternate dates within 10 days of arrival, if the new reservation is of equal or higher value as the original booking. In case the new booking is of lesser value than the original booking, any difference in charges between the original and new reservation value will also be charged, in addition to the change fee. We will charge “no-shows” the full amount of their reservation and any cancellation or “no-shows” of a portion of reservations made after arrival will be charged the full amount of the reservation made at the time of booking.

GROUP RESERVATIONS: Any reservations including 3 or more rooms are considered Group Bookings and must be secured with a 50% deposit at the time of booking which becomes non-refundable within 30 days of the arrival date. The full amount of the reservation is non-refundable within 15 days of arrival. Any changes to the reservation made within 30 day of arrival will be assessed a change fee equal to 25% of the booking value of the original reservation and a new deposit of 50% of the new reservation will also be assessed in addition to the change fee and foregone deposit associated with the original reservation. Please note no meals are included with Group Reservations. We are happy to curate chef's table, breakfasts, picnics, and other activities specifically for your group to enjoy. Our Meet & Greet Check-In comes standard with Group Reservations and our Innkeeper will host a welcome reception for your group at which time your custom-curated itinerary will be shared with all guests in your party.

PET POLICY: We offer a select few pet friendly rooms and require advance notice and a $150 per pet fee for each pet accompanying our guests. The fee is waived for Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) with accompanying documentation. Pets must be accompanied at all times and cannot be left alone in rooms, in vehicles or tied to anything on the premises and are not allowed in common areas, including the gardens. Please take pets off-site for relieving them and should there be any accidents on site, please pick up after them. Damage to property and excessive noise and nuisance to other guests will not be tolerated and should the pets and guests accompanying them be asked to leave as a result of this, the full booked value and any damages and loss of income incurred will be charged. Any unapproved pets, even in pet friendly rooms, will attract a $350 fee in addition to any damages and loss of income incurred.

SMOKE FREE PREMISES: Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises, which includes not only the guest rooms but the grounds and the outside decks, patios, and gardens. Guests smoking in rooms will be charged a minimum of $350 for cleaning and repair. The final charge will include all actual costs plus any lost income.

DAMAGES: Guests are responsible for excessive cleaning, damages to or breakage of the Inn’s Property. Final Expenses will be based upon actual documented costs, plus any lost income.

CODE OF CONDUCT: Guests are expected to treat our staff and other guests with respect, kindness and empathy. The Foxie reserves the right to refuse service to anyone not following our conduct of conduct as deemed appropriate by our staff on the premises and in communication with the guests at the time. We have a zero tolerance policy toward verbal and physical abuse and use of profanity is not permitted in any interaction with staff or other guests. Should there be any disagreement that cannot be resolved to your satisfaction, you agree to appeal in writing to The Foxie Management and accept The Management's final offer for resolution. If guests are asked to leave the premises due to a violation of our Code of Conduct, everyone in the guests' party and associated reservation must vacate the premises immediately and no refunds will be issued.

RESOURCE CONSERVATION: please turn off all lights, air conditioning systems, and fireplaces when you are not in the room. We appreciate your help in conserving precious resources.

E-SIGNATURE: Your signature through our guest app indicates your acceptance of and adherence to the policies and rules listed herein on behalf of everyone included in the reservation.

Our Mission: we are dedicated to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personally identifiable information.

Information Collection: our main purpose in collecting your personal information is to provide you with a streamlined experience in making reservations at The Foxie. We only collect information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this. Personally identifiable information is only obtained when making a reservation. All identifiable information provided will not be disclosed to anyone unless we are specifically requested to do so. The Foxie does not give or sell to anyone any information we collect on our site.

We sometimes use data collection devices such as "cookies" on certain pages of the Site to measure effectiveness and safety. A "cookie" is a small file that gets placed on your hard drive that helps us provide our services. You are free to decline cookies if you so choose.

Security: we take security seriously at The Foxie. When users make a reservation we use every precaution to safeguard information both online and offline.

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

Policy Modifications: The Foxie may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs, or to satisfy the needs of our guests, properties, strategic marketing partners, and service providers.
